Buhari orders probe into Rivers National Assembly Elections Petitions Tribunal. Following the petition to President Buhari by the Peoples Democratic Party over alleged bribery of some tribunal judges, the President has ordered an immediate investigation into the activities of the tribunal. President Buhari who spoke on Christmas eve, said " I received a petition with recorded telephone conversations from the PDP, over an alleged bribery of the judges. And I have directed the President of the Court of Appeal and the Attorney General to look into the issues raised by the PDP. The judiciary is supposed to be the last hope of both the rich and poor man. And a situation where courts of equal standing begin to give conflicting judgements, then it means things are not right. This is what we criticized in the previous administrations, so we can't be the ones manipulating the judiciary now. I know what I have suffered in election tribunals in the past. Now, I hear one court is sayin...
